Frequently Asked Questions

What are your accepted payment methods?
Payment for items purchased online can be made using the secure online payment gateway Stripe.

Cash payment will be accepted for cash sales at the school office.

What is Stripe and is it safe?
It is a safe and easy way of paying with your credit or debit card. You do not need a Stripe Account to pay for your items through Stripe. After you submit your order click the “Pay Now” button. You will see the option to pay with a Credit or Debit Card without having to sign up for a Stripe account.

What courier service do you use, and do I need to be home to sign for my courier parcel?
We use Post Haste. Your parcels will be track and trace and do require a signature. If you are not home Post Haste will leave a calling card. 

New Zealand Shipping 
Courier is $10 to New Zealand addresses.

Our special bulk order of 10 books, is pick up only, unless you contact us for a shipping quote.

Rural delivery is an extra $5. Please note we will not send your parcel if you are rural delivery and do not select this option.

Orders will be dispatched within 1-3 business days. You will receive an email from us when your order has been dispatched.

Pick Up Orders will be notified when your order is ready for collection from Puahue School.

Australia Delivery
Orders will be packaged & dispatched via International Air - please allow 3-10 working days. Untracked. If you would prefer tracked, please email us for this option.

Orders will be dispatched within 1-3 business days. You will receive an email from us when your order has been dispatched.

International Shipping 
International shipping is available upon request. Please contact us with your order and address at hello@aroundourtable.co.nz and we will be in touch. This will likely be untracked and uninsured. Around Our Table is not liable for any customs or import duties that could arise on arrival in your country.

How long does shipping take?
Normally 1-3 business days from dispatch. South Island and rural deliveries may take a day or two longer.

How are they packaged?
We package your cookbooks in a nice sturdy cardboard mailer to keep them protected.

What happens if my cookbook arrives damaged?
We take every care when we package your order, but should it not arrive in the condition it left us in please contact us immediately. Please email us full photographic evidence and provide full details of the condition/damage. Please do not dispose of any items until advised to by us as we are often required to return these to the courier for inspection. 

What are your return and exchange policies?
We stand by the quality of our cookbook and do not offer exchanges or returns for a simple change of mind. If there is a fault we will meet consumer rights. Goods must be returned in their full packaging and be unused. 

Is this pricing in New Zealand dollars?
